Memories

Memories
With your long blonde hair and eyes so blue.
I'm sitting here quietly thinking of you.
Although you lived quite far away,
You were always thought of as close family.
At least we have lovely memories of days gone by,
where we all can look back and laugh and cry.
Do you remember the time in Edinburgh Town,
At the side of the castle where we had to walk down
Scott helping his scared Auntie, zig zag down the steep hill.
While you and Karl went straight for the thrill.
Hop, Skip and jump you were up in the air,
I could not turn round, I was in total despair.
When I finally reached you, my face was a frown.
Thank God , there you were Giggling, Laughing and Lying on the ground.
Now that your spirit is completely free
You can travel among us quite easily.
Until that time comes when we all meet again,
Look after your pappy and all the rest of them!
I will always love you
and your gran misses you very much.

Never Alone
by Rodney Belcher
I feel you in the morning
When at first I awake
Your thought is with me
With each decision I make

You'd been around forever
Since the first breath I took
Now I have to go on alone
But for love, I need not look

Cause by what you bestowed
In our short time together
Will last in my heart
Forever and ever

Although you've left
And now walk above
I'm never alone
I'm wrapped in your love

Enjoy now your long waited reward
Feel peace that your love continues on
What was taught to me, will be taught to mine
Cause you live on in me even after you've gone

You look so peaceful lying there
With your hands folded upon your chest.
You look like you are sleeping
But you are at eternal rest.
So Long For Now.

Not a hair out of place,
Your make-up nicely done,
A beautiful smile upon your lips -
For now you are with Absalom.
When someone special passes on
It does not mean they are gone,
Though they are no longer with us
Their memory still lives on.
It hurts so much to lose a cussen
Especially one that is trustworthy and kind.
Nan Legge, you were that special friend,
A rare and special find.
Nan Legge, you will always be with me
In spirit and in mind.
You will always have a special place in my heart
Forever until the end of time.
Nan Legge, I will not say 'Good-bye'.
This is not the end.
So I will just say, 'So long...'
Until we meet again.

A Letter From Heaven

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; Here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through.
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, 'I welcome you.'

'It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, They'll be here later on.

I need you here so badly, you are part of my plan.
There is so much that we can do, to help our mortal man.'

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in bed at night the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you.... in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years.
Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who is in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night....'My day was not in vain.

And now I am contented... that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.'

So if you meet somebody who is sad and low;
Just lend a hand to pick them up, as on your way you go.

When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go....
from that body to be free.
Remember you're not going....
you're coming here to be with me X X X X X X X

memories

Happy little Memories
Go flitting though our mind,
And in our thoughts and memories,
you always seem to find,
The picture of their face,
The memory of their touch,
And all the little things about them
you come to love so much.
They cannot go beyond our thoughts
or leave our love behind.
Because we keep them in our heart,
And forever on our my mind!
rest in peace and look after your familyxxxxxxxxx
